History Of Gwinnett Dermatology
Gwinnett Dermatology P. C. was founded by Dr. Joel S. Shavin as a one-physician, one-location practice in the once small community of Snellville in July, 1978. The Practice expanded as Snellville grew and added Dr. Jonathan S. Weiss in 1991 and Dr. Keith D. Wright in 1998. The Practice was then, as it is now, committed to delivering the highest quality medical and dermatologic care. Recognizing the needs of the community, the Practice expanded to include a dermatologic research center to assist in the development of new pharmaceutical products, a Mohs micrographic surgery unit, a program of medically supervised cosmetic procedures and a dermatopathology laboratory.
Our providers are Board certified, caring professionals. Each provider brings a variety of expertise to the practice that benefits our community and employees. They all have an unwavering commitment to excellence in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology.
