Dr. Alia Brown
Dr. Alia Brown joined Georgia Dermatology Partners in 2010 after distinguishing herself at Meharry Medical College as an Honor’s Graduate and inductee into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. Upon completion of her residency in dermatology, Dr. Brown completed a cosmetic and laser fellowship with Dr. David Goldberg.
She has published in multiple medical and dermatology journals. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Medical Association, Women’s Dermatology Society, Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc.
Dr. Brown specializes in partnering with patients to deliver the healthiest, most beautiful skin possible. As a highly skilled skin laser and surgery specialist, she has a focused interest in cosmetic dermatology, including laser medicine and injectables. She places a high priority on her patients’ well-being and enjoys designing the most appropriate and successful treatment path for everyone. In her free time, Dr. Brown enjoys traveling, exercising, and volunteer work with several civic organizations. Dr. Brown is married and has four children.
Jessica J. Mercer, M.D.
Dr. Jessica Mercer, Co-Managing Partner and Director of Dermatopathology, joined Georgia Dermatology Partners in 2014 as a dermatologist and dermatopathologist, a subspecialty in which she studies skin, hair, and nails on a microscopic level. This additional expertise gives her an advantage in masterfully approaching challenging dermatological conditions. In addition to her immense skill, she is regarded for her compassion towards patients and her attention to detail. She values a dynamic patient-physician relationship and works side by side with her patients in order to understand their medical history and develop a treatment plan that is personalized and successful. She has trained at highly-acclaimed academic programs, and has a comprehensive practice that includes general dermatology, pediatric dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, and surgical dermatology.
Dr. Mercer has a special interest in hair loss conditions, and has effectively treated many patients through innovative medical therapies and procedures. She stays abreast of cutting-edge therapeutics for alopecia such that her patients have access to the best treatment options available. She is a thought leader in the field, and her expertise has been recognized through features in publications and national awards.
Dr. Mercer is a member of American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatopathology, Women’s Dermatologic Society, Skin of Color Society, American Medical Association, Dermatology Foundation, Medical Association of Georgia, Atlanta Association for Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery, Georgia Society for Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery, Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society, and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. She also formerly served as Assistant Professor at the University of Miami Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery. In her free time, Dr. Mercer enjoys international travel and recreation, mentorship, and community service, exploring new shops and restaurants, taking in local sports games, and spending time with family and friends.
Elise Martin, M.D.
Dr. Elise Martin is a board-certified dermatologist with expertise spanning medical, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology. Dr. Martin's educational journey began at Vanderbilt University for her undergraduate studies, followed by her pursuit of a Doctor of Medicine degree at the esteemed Medical College of Georgia. She furthered her medical training with an internship in internal medicine at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Martin's commitment to dermatology led her to a rigorous residency program at Wake Forest Baptist Health, where she honed her skills in dermatological care. Her pursuit of excellence extended to a fellowship in Cosmetic Dermatologic Surgery at Dermatology, Laser, and Vein Specialists of the Carolinas, where she received specialized training in cosmetic procedures and Mohs surgery.
A native of Lawrenceville, Georgia, Dr. Martin is thrilled to provide personalized, compassionate, and comprehensive care to her community. She places the utmost importance on patient-centric care, particularly in the realm of cosmetics, where her passion lies in enhancing patients' natural beauty at every stage of life to help them look and feel their very best.
Dr. Martin’s expertise covers a wide spectrum of skincare concerns, ranging from effective acne treatments and innovative anti-aging solutions to precise skin cancer detection, removal, and Mohs Micrographic Surgery. She is also a distinguished co-investigator in multiple clinical trials involving cutting-edge cosmetic procedures and has contributed as a co-author to numerous book chapters, peer-reviewed journal publications, and a renowned textbook on cosmetic and laser medicine.

Jennifer Sissom, PA-C
Jennifer Sissom is a certified physician assistant specializing in medical dermatology. Jennifer joined Georgia Dermatology Partners in 2007. She provides personalized and comprehensive care by leveraging her experience, dermatology expertise and commitment to patient satisfaction. She treats a variety of skin disorders in patients of all ages, ranging from acne and rashes to skin cancers.
Jennifer is a member of the American Academy of Physicians Assistants, Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, and Georgia Association of Physician Assistants.
In her free time, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family and cheering for her girls who play softball.
She is married with two children.
Courtney R. Davis, PA-C
Courtney Davis is a certified physician assistant. She was raised in a military family and has lived in several states as well as abroad in Germany. Courtney spent 5 years practicing in surgery before joining Georgia Dermatology Partners in 2013. She is committed to providing excellent care to patients of all ages and all skin types. She believes patient education is an important aspect of dermatology, and enjoys taking time to make sure her patients understand their treatment options and plans. Courtney’s practice includes general dermatology, pediatric dermatology, and surgical dermatology. She has a special interest in acne, skin cancer surveillance and surgery, and hyperhidrosis.
Courtney is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Georgia Dermatology Physician Assistants, American Acne and Rosacea Society, and Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. She is a registered provider with the International Hyperhidrosis Society.
When she is not caring for her patients, Courtney spends time at home in Atlanta with her husband Mark, their two children, and their dog Cole. Her interests include tennis, cooking, and traveling.
Devon Pattillo, PA-C
Devon Pattillo is a certified physician assistant who joined Georgia Dermatology Partners in 2014. Passionate about providing excellent clinical care, Devon places a high priority on patient’s needs and concerns. She treats a variety of skin disorders in patients of all ages, from acne, psoriasis, and rashes to skin cancers. She has a comprehensive practice that includes general dermatology, pediatric dermatology, and surgical dermatology.

In her spare time, Devon enjoys being outdoors, spending time with her family, and participating in activities at her church. She is married with three children.
Brittany Dupree, FNP-C
Brittany Dupree is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner who joined Georgia Dermatology Partners in 2018. Brittany is committed to providing the highest quality, personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care to all patients and their families. She is passionate about serving a diverse patient population of all ages and improving the health of all through education and empowerment. She evaluates, diagnoses, and manages a variety of dermatologic skin conditions including psoriasis, eczema, acne, rashes and all types of skin cancers with an emphasis on detection, prevention, and treatment. Her practice includes medical, pediatric, and surgical dermatology.
Brittany is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Georgia Dermatology Physician Assistants & Nurse Practitioners, and Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society.
Outside of the office, Brittany enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and friends. She also enjoys traveling, exercising, cooking healthy meals, and shopping.
Kristin Turmel, PA-C
Kristin Turmel is a certified physician assistant that joined Georgia Dermatology Partners in the midst of the 2020 pandemic. She relocated to Georgia from Tennessee where she was born and raised. Kristin has an enduring passion for giving back to her community and takes great pride in her continued ability to help others with their dermatologic needs. Her practice comprises medical dermatology including general, pediatric, and surgical subspecialties with a special interest in hair loss.
Distinguished amongst her peers, Kristin received the highest award by the faculty of South College during her physician assistant training. She continues to engage in supporting the physician assistant community as a member of Pi Alpha National Honor Society, Georgia Dermatology Physician Assistants, Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, and the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
Beyond patient care, Kristin enjoys time spent with her family, exploring the outdoors, painting with various mediums, traveling to the coastline, and watching Tennessee football.

Kelly Schoeneck, LLP
Kelly is a Licensed Laser Practitioner located in our Braselton office with over 18 years in the Aesthetics field. Kelly joined Georgia Dermatology Partners in 2017 and has extensive training and knowledge in Skin Pen and Vi Peel brands. Kelly specializes in multiple medical laser treatments including laser hair reduction, IPL, Diode, Resurfx, and Ultherapy. She takes pride in educating patients on services, procedures, and skincare products while delivering exceptional hands-on patient care. Kelly believes that healthy skin is the combination of hard work and innovative treatments to enhance her patient’s natural beauty.
Cynthia Haymon, LLP
Cynthia Haymon is a licensed Laser Practitioner & Aesthetician with over 15 years in the aesthetic industry. Cynthia joined GDP in 2022 and has extensive knowledge in laser treatments and specializes in skincare correction. Cynthia enjoys working with patients to help achieve optimal results so they can look and feel their best. She is taking patients in our Snellville and Brookhaven locations.
Fallon Griffin-Byrd, LLP
Fallon joined the Georgia Dermatology Partners cosmetics team in July 2020. She is a Licensed Aesthetician with training in multiple skincare products and procedures. As an Aesthetician and cosmetic consultant, Fallon is very knowledgeable when it comes to choosing the correct products and procedures for your specific skin type.

Destiny Olmeda
Destiny joined Georgia Dermatology Partners in 2016. She began her journey with us as a medical assistant with 18 years of dermatology experience. Destiny is a certified cool sculpting technician and cosmetics consultant. She has extensive training in cosmetic dermatology to help patients make the best skin care decisions for their specific concerns.  She is passionate about skincare, treating every patient like a close friend, and believes that beautiful, radiant, healthy skin equals confidence.
Carrington Elder, LE
Carrington joined Georgia Dermatology Partners in November of 2021. She is an Esthetician with extensive knowledge of skin care products and treatments. Carrington has a deep passion for maintaining the integrity of aesthetic medicine and she enjoys treating acne, hyperpigmentation, and aging skin.
Charity Myers
Charity joined the Georgia Dermatology Partners cosmetic team in 2024. She graduated cum laude from Georgia State University with a bachelor's degree in business administration. With a deep passion for cosmetics and skincare, she combines her academic background with her extensive dermatology knowledge to provide exceptional customer service. Charity's favorite skincare line is Revision, and she's a huge fan of the HydraFacial service. Outside of work, she enjoys quality time with friends and family, bringing a warm, personal touch to everything she does.
